ProfessorChef & Associates LLC, or Consult ProfessorChef for short, began with a personal decision. After six years serving the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture as a Food & Dairy Inspector, Middle Tennessee Supervisor, and Manufactured Foods Coordinator, I stepped away to care for my ailing father full time. When he passed in November 2024, I faced a choice — return to a traditional role or build the type of consulting firm I believe the food industry could truly benefit from.

Consult ProfessorChef is built on over 20 years of experience across restaurants, retail, and food manufacturing, combined with regulatory leadership and international culinary experience. Having worked on both the industry and regulatory sides, I bring a practical perspective that identifies inefficiencies, simplifies compliance, and develops operational solutions designed for real-world implementation.
